Solved: Switching from DDO to NDO

I've been trying to figure this out for some time. Is it possible to swtich from DDO to NDO and then back to DDO seemlessly? seems like the moment I switch to NDO and start editing the normal map, it destroys my DDO project. Anyone have some insights?

You  should be able to add your normal details just fine within the DDO project, though I have personally had issues with it BSODing my computer and not providing me the necessary options to modify the normal...almost like the option is gone. I've had it work correctly before since 2.0 as well though...so I think in my case it's specifically a problem with my project file.
