Solved: Can't undo/redo while painting

There is a bug in the painter making it not possible to undo or redo your actions while painting. Happens both in full shaded and quick edit painting. I'm pretty sure this wasn't an issue in the first version of 2.0 but i'm not 100% sure since i didn't use it that much.

Undo is disabled by default to increase performance across all painting modes. If you'd like to enable undo, enter 3DO Painting mode (NDO or DDO) and click on Performance at the top right - Undo and Fix Seams Automatically will be visible in that menu.
