SYNAESTHESIA
Is 3DO Baker packed with 2.0? I don't see the license on the site.
Synaesthesia, it would be nice to see updated Wiki with docs for current version of Suite.
However I seem to be missing the presets present in 1.8 for Weathering. They are also present in the Suite 2 tutorials but I can't find them anywhere in my UI. Could anyone point me in the right direction, please?
Tach, which presets are you referring to?
I click on Import Albedo and when i navigate on the 2nd to 3rd folder to find my texture 3DO2 shuts down...
Ultragrisen: If you could also post that issue on the tools group, that would be fantastic! We'll get these bugs squashed in no time with your assistance! Thank you!
Dorodo:
1) Is there a key shortcut list for the new 3DO?
2) Will you be able to show the UV's in Photoshop.
3) Is there really not a way to Control-Z in 3DO? If so, that's pretty harsh.
1) Click on this and CTRL+F to NAVIGATION CONTROLS.
2) Yes! You can do that in basically any version of DDO or NDO, as they're just Photoshop plugins essentially. Paste your UVs into your albedo map and you'll be able to see them in the PSD, and on your model. There is a possibility that fully-supported UV overlays will be coming in a future update!
3) Yes, but it's disabled by default for performance improvements - 8k is a little sluggish with undo enabled. You can click on the performance button in 3DO while in painting mode to set the level of undos and whether you can undo at all! I've attached an image that demonstrates where it is.
25% OFF DURING LAUNCH WEEKEND. Offer expires on November 30.
I imported the object, and started dDo... That's what happened...
I was surprised to see Unity 5.3 being used for 3DO, that's still a beta release as far as I know.
Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you! :-) That is very satisfactory. I was afraid "5 gigs" or something like that. Very good, thanks again.
(I didn't have an account but created it afterwards...)
I just installed the new suite on my laptop but when i try to open 3DO it initializing until 80% and then it crashes with "The game crashed". I'm not sure if it is related to my laptop but i have tried Suite 1.8 with 3DO without crashes before.
Also i have one license but will i be able to install and activate this suite also on my Desktop PC?
Maybe stupid question but is it possible to load projects created with previous suite 1.8?
Thanks,
Dave
@Loggie24 - could you please define "not working" for us?
@davaze- You can install on as many machines as you wish, but you may only have one machine activated per license. You'll get an e-mail from our licensing system to deactivate the currently licensed machine so you can activate that license on another machine.
@Death Beam Sunlight - We're currently working on symmetrical painting. Color picking already exists in Photoshop. UV previewing also exists - you can paste your UV map into your albedo channel and have it display directly on the model!
@Cosmosxxx - are you still having licensing issues?
@Ultragrisen - You can make a profile for just relaying bugs to the team, for now I'll cross-post your issue there. Your call, let me know!
PI3C3 - That is unfortunate! Could you please post that on the Quixel Tools Group - I can forward it to the team as well!
@vmrnv You're welcome! Thank you for supporting us!
