In the process of doing that actually, trying a quick fix in a couple of days for now. But the social icons are based on font-awesome, a CSS icon library. I've requested them to add Polycount and Artstation icons to the library.

I'm having the same problem. Also all of my 'pages' - cv/resume, contact, and blog page - all just render as blank.

Hey can you both go to Wren Settings, hit right sidebar save, and then left side bar and save? Otherwise link me and I'll check the code!
Is there an option for each post to display in a lightbox gallery instead of opening individual posts? I would imagine some portfolios (like painters) would rather have a gallery for their home page to be more effective.
Another alternative would be for the post to open in a lightbox using magnific popup or something, that way a viewer isn't constantly reloading pages but they still get all the detail posts.

I get what your saying, but 99% of other wordpress portfolio themes pretty much work like that where-as this one is geared more towards the sort of portfolio style of cg artists.
Unfortunately I won't be adding any sort of lightbox support. The theme was developed in such a way that it uses full width and scroll on mobile/tablet/desktop for optimal viewing of images in the portfolio anyway. Lightboxes are also inherently non-effective, most are based on Javascript and have little to no fallback. My personal opinion is that they're really more of an affectation when most of the time they don't impress but cause navigation issues.

Hm? Thats odd it doesn't use a plugin to autocrop the images? @Sythen should try aqua resizer which is what i use for one of my sites. Here's a wordpress tutorial if it helps.
Uh, ok well i suggested a fix for @Sythen but i added a link to my example code and the post is up for review XD
I submitted a pull request on github though, i hope that helps resolve this issue.
Hey! So I'm not going to pull this into Wren as I feel it's a little over the top for a simple fix. Wordpress' thumbnail system already does this, hence the 700x700 portfolio-featured image size in the line you replaced, it just needs to be forced. I'll get on adding it too.

Are you sure? Does it upscale images smaller than your set size? I experimented with WordPress options myself last year on my sites and the built in WordPress feature is too limited.
In other words if someone has an image that's say 1000x400 or 640 x 480 you'll end up with an odd crop, no crop, or it will simply resize with the same ratio (depending on how you do it). You should make sure this isn't the case. The aqua resizer solution makes sure this isn't a problem regardless of the image size and format (WordPress resize doesn't work well with gifs).
Hi Sythen, can we have some more option to choose colors. Like colors for posts, icons and title text. And in the current theme is there any way to use Menu's.

I only use go daddy for my domain, my host is Digital Ocean.
It's harder to set up cause a lot of stuff is manual, but you get your own server, with a set resource usage, and pay no more than other services.
Plus if you ever want to expand the usage of your site you'll have less problems dealing with non as well documented proprietary site functions. This host has a ton of really helpful tutorials and a great community help too. The few people i recommended online usually didn't have any issues.

Yes @iadagraca phone support only, no email or chat. I couldn't find another support option. For me that is awful, because of the ISD charges here. UPDATE : just had a conversation with the support guys they told me that email and chat support will be available within one month.
