I'm at the point where I know there's a lot wrong with the general aesthetic, but I've stared so long at it now that I can't quite feel what it is. There's still a lot of things not finished or are placeholders at the minute. help pls
Working on a laptop which is fairly slow compared to my computer strangely makes me make every move count when I'm modelling. It's a nice change of pace.
Also does anyone have some ideas on where I might take this? I'm not trying to get a typical "authoritarian grimdark" generic stuff we've seen with CCTV cameras, I wanted to capture it in a different way, a slight focus on the technology of it maybe? I imagine materials will be key in this but if anyone can suggest/throw up some ideas on presentation that'd be sweet.
Been relighting a scene by Conor Sullivan and I could use some feedback on drawing the composition in, reference images and all that jazz. Advice on reducing visual clutter and balancing the scene would be immensely helpful. I feel as though the environment is fighting against the scene.

Some doors for a scene I'll be posting up tomorrow.

Old skool renders
Smashed it into unreal so I don't have to rely on Marmoset.
Tried out lighting more stuff in Unreal.
Making a camera, 75%. Planning on animating the iris and having some cool shots for it.

Becoming increasingly faster in my workflow now. Feels great.
Got it up in unreal now, test scene before I put it into the one I've been working on. Will post up later tonight.

Would love some feedback on what to do with this. I don't think it's quite there yet.
Added some old character assets by Bear Winter-Perreau to One Small Step's level for funsies.
