Sony Online has published a new article on their Art Portal. This one discusses the creation of Rhoen Theer, a god-killing raid boss in Everquest 2.
Dave Brown, a lead character artist at SOE, goes step by step from the design, through concept, modeling and finally into the game. He even includes screenshots! There's also a handful of more articles and bushels of concepts and paintings for your perusal.
