If i learned something about hiring people or getting hired, then that everyone looks for something different and that this can not really be generalized.
As an employer, I also go through Polycount and save usernames who have great art. When the time comes to review those usernames, I go through their post history mainly to see their art again, but to also see how they react to feedback and just their general attitude.
I would never hold cat gifs, boobie art, sarcasm, etc against anyone. I will however take note if a person dismisses constructive criticism with things like 'it's my style', defensive arguments, overall dismissal, etc. Those are all just red flags to me.
If there was an art equivalent to House, would a studio not hire him?
The best artist I've ever worked with (he was light years ahead of everyone else) was laid off because he was just too blunt and "negative".
Having a "bad attitude" is considered an extreme threat and will make you a target of almost everyone. Co-workers will complain about you and managers will want to get rid of you.
Take that dissatisfaction and refocus that energy into personal projects.

This is why social skill are so important in a Studio environment. You have to be tactful and subtle when trying to align people to opinions outside the status quo. And if your teams/leads go in the opposite direction, you let go of your ego and give it a shot-even if it goes against what you think is best.
Be yourself...If it costs you a job..you probably wouldn't have liked it anyway.
And to be clear, I'm not advocating being a jerk, just saying you shouldn't tip-toe around the forum in fear that a future employer may not like your taste in music, or your opinion on the flat earth society.
Understand: your work is the single greatest means at your disposal for expressing your social intelligence. By being efficient and detail oriented in what you do, you demonstrate that you are thinking of the group at large and advancing it's cause. By making what you write or present clear and easy to follow, you show your care for the audience or public at large. By involving other people in your projects and gracefully accepting their feedback, you reveal your comfort with the group dynamic. Work that is solid also protects you from the political conniving and malevolence of others - it is hard to argue with the results you produce. If you are experiencing pressures of political maneuvering within the group, do not lose your head and become consumed with all of the pettiness. By remaining focused and speaking socially through your work, you will both continue to raise your skill level and stand out among all the others who make a lot of noise but produce nothing.

What you say and how you say it, both in face to face interactions and on the internet have obvious repercussions. If you believe very strongly in something, there are more intelligent ways to deliver the message other than just being a jerk, just as we all care for our work, we also need to craft the appropriate persona.
Bad actions and choices won't get you far. A history of repeating those same actions is a death nail.
Some good advice to live by:
-Respect is earned, but be open and welcoming of new people and let them show you who they are first. Most people are really cool. Even when they aren't there's no real reason to outwardly be negative to them in any sort of public forum. Take the high road. It's a major character trait if you can be civil and good around those you dont necessarily care for.
-Mob mentality, rumor mongering (yes it's happened, even on here.), and just being a general drama llama is wasted energy and time, you could use doing better things or just being in a general better state of mind and mood (which does go a long way towards personal health care.)
-You aren't better than everyone else. Someone is always better than you. Someone will always get better than you will be. Why fight and waste time trying to prove you're better than others? Just do the best work you can and appreciate the diversity of people and the work their produce, it's actually pretty wonderful.
-Be grateful to those who help you. Whether that's life stuff, or in the case of this forum, things like critiques, answering questions, showing you how to make stuff, or just other general nice things. Value other people's time.
-Think before you criticizes. Is what you're going to say worth saying? How are you saying it? What words do you use? There are a lot of factors that go into this, but again, doesnt make a lot of sense for you to come off being antagonistic. "Wow you fucking suck" isn't a valid or needed form of critiquing.
Overall just be professional and courteous. You cant always be friendly towards everyone, but it helps to have the mindset that most people are awesome and chill, especially on here. Dont let the few bad ones spoil that idea.

Just like theres no perfect resum
Because house is an asshole. I think that's a pretty bad analogy.

Probably I'm wrong, but, isn't this mobbing?
It's human nature.
^^Best Advice IMHO.
Yep. It's also like daycare, preschool, elementary school, college, politics, workplace, social clubs, church and old folks' homes.
Anywhere human beings gather in groups of three or more.

We've had to let go very good artists in the past who are just impossible to work with as part of a team.
A person with an average folio with good team work skills will win over a great folio with bad teamwork skills.
