Hi there I'm just a begginner in doing items for Dota 2.
Well, I have been studing some soft that is used in the process of creation for about 2 months and now I'm trying to do my 1st set for the game.
I chose Crystal Maiden to be my first victim (haha).
So, firstly let me show you the base of the base of the set (yes)

Well, I enjoyed the process but when I started retop there were some problems with amount of polys and animation. Anyway, I found that concept a bit simple for the game so I decided to upgrade it a bit.
When I was drawing this I had only a scketchbook and a little pencil

And here is sculpted version of the concept. I still don't like the trail of the corset and I will change it in a few days. And the dragon... He is too sharp as I think and its hard to retop him so he will be resculpted as well.

And here are some details, maybe someone will be interested in them)

TY guys I'm trying to stop detailing in a right time
I'm satisfied with details, they look quite sharp.
But... I'm so stupid - had an idea to make trail on another mesh but something stopped me at this moment. The back is so ugly
And today I had an idea at university so I desided to sketch it. At Dota I have Announcer Bastion and every time I pick OD he sais We all wish we could fly on wings of stone. That gave me a reason to think a bit)
if you have time, please can you share your tutorial how to baking map perfectly just like you did so well?
Hey there. I used this tutorial http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=183672148. Hope it will be useful for you and thnx for feedback
ty for replying) I think I should bake those maps as them look on high poly, without too dark shadows
ur welcome
why not, ty. Need to draw that)
Oh yes - I changed the mantle a bit so that the texture maps are going to be sharper and cleaner - hope so much. I wish I had more time to work on the set but on the other side I dont have any deadlines so there is no need to hurry.
