@JennyS, looks cool! The 1st step on the wall (her left foot) doesn't quite feel weighty, possibly because her torso appears to lean backwards for a step just before stepping on the wall, as if she was going to do a wall flip instead of climbing up. Looking forward to progress!
@Arturow, cool setup. I want to see some progress!
Nice work man, it all looks good but I think the pull up at the end looks a little unrealistic and there doesn't seem to be much weight behind it. He seems to find it too easy to just swing up and onto his feet from the position he was in. Maybe his body goes too horizontal and the 'pull in' is a little too slow?
Agreed The last bit was without reference and still needs a lot of attention. I just realized I could use some Uneven Bars exercises for ref so hopefully that will improve it's feel some.
@Jenny S: looking good overall!! just a few notes .
- The first step looks like she lost the momentum from the run ( I don't know maybe is the lack of energy? o. O or try to take some frames from it to see how it looks , this one is tricky haha)
- When she end up at the top, I think the reaction is too much , the one with the body and the head going to the ground. I would tone down that movement or give it more time an a nice overlap
@ Hito: I agree with _adamturnbull, I think the body reacts well but maybe its the trajectory that is tricking us, maybe if the peak wasn't that long it could look believable. (I think in that movement he should be falling before reaching the rock :P ) maybe a more vertical movement will help to sell the action. the rest is beautiful ( still some fingers to be fixed but I don't think you are in that state yet haha , awesome job)
Here is my blocking the ladder is actually moving but it gets in the same position as the step before so I can loop it perfectly :P. infinite ladder \o/
I may exaggerate more the up and down
@ Hito : WOOOOW! that looks so beautiful :O! that looks like perfect to me lol , the only thing that got my eyes was - the bent of the body at minute 3 it may be a lot. ( but actually there are people that have that ability). Like I said it feels perfect to me, just as a note :P. Awesome week!
And yeah I will watch his foot :P , going to start the splines and see how it goes thanks! if anything wrong happens i will just Y down the monster :P or put the character Y up
Just been blocking things in right now, school has got me kinda busy as of late. Still rough at the end, so I'm gonna have to spend more time there. Gonna try to finish this by working all day today. Any feedback would be super helpful . [vv]140588100[/vv]
@13randO, the climb feels pretty good so far, still early, some breakdowns will help further define the way she climbs the ladder. The ladder falling down is hard to understand as it's falling through whatever it was leaning on. The legs flailing I think can be a little more delayed as it feels a little like she kicked the ladder down on purpose.
@13randO : from what I understand she climbs and then stays at the bulb or something out of the screen like in the cartoons right? ;o, I agree with Hito that the climb looks good just a couple of notes:
-Maybe tone down the foots going backwards because they feel very aggressive. ( or maybe you wanted that o.O if that's the case ignore this haha)
-And maybe the hands going to the sides too , but that can be better judged at splines
Hey guys! I've taken a day or so to update the climb; gonna take one more pass on it and then wrap it up, maybe put it in my portfolio for when I graduate. Besides tweaking the dangling feet and fixing the fingers, what else could be done to improve? Also, thanks so much, Hito and Arturow, your feedback really helped (FLCL is one of the reasons that I wanted to be an animator in the first place).

Good luck in your final week Hito !
Have fun on vacation!
Alright, here we go, 1st pass! Needs some more poses, particularly near the end where I haven't touched it yet.
@Arturow, cool setup. I want to see some progress!

@Arturow timing feels pretty good. Maybe up the ante a bit, the lower foot pulls out of the bite just in time?
Some more polish. Hands shoulders fingers; timing and arc of the final swing up to the landing.
