I currently own an NDO license, which I purchased way back before the full Quixel suite existed. I was about to purchase DDO to complete the suite, when I saw the announcement for 2.0 and now Im confused.
The new tools in 2.0 look amazing, and I read that existing users will get the upgrade for free. So my question is: if I purchase a DDO license, will I also get the 2.0 upgrade for both NDO and DDO when it is released, or do I need to own the suite rather than the licenses separately?
Secondly, its cheaper to purchase 2.0 at the 30% reduced price, so why would I want to purchase 1.8 versions? Or does 2.0 only include the painters and not the original NDO/DDO/3DO tools?
NDO has been an amazing tool, and I want the complete set. Im just confused as to what each separate purchase will get me.

It's actually very cool that Quixel have combined the Indie license with the hobby & freelance license and for just $89 you would have to be mad not to pre-order :poly121:
cheers
With the release of the Suite and things like dDo Painter, and the soon-to-be release of 2.0 Suite will Quixel continue to support and put out new versions of its Legacy products such as dDo Legacy? Or are those being dropped from development with a new focus on the Suite and the painter products?
I ask because dDo Legacy fits real well in my workflow as well as many others I'm sure, and I'd hate to see it phased out.
