Hey folks, so off the tail end of my last project
Gates of Horizon I was left with about 15 days of summer to create another portfolio piece.
I decided to base my work on this concept from Guild Wars:
I make it a point to choose environments with content I haven't experienced yet. During this project I learned:
- UE4 landscapes
- Particle Systems
- Layered Materials
- 'Fur' shells (moss)

Add some variation color and different moss. It will be more readable at close range.

@DanielR17 Hey Dan, thanks! For the most part it's just a map I found online. It's static, but it works fine for pictures.
@linwail Thanks I'll work on that.
Also try lighting it under different conditions (sunset), it's a bit hard to see the contrast between the moss and gold in the farther shots.
