Hey guys, I've been HP baking a lot since I do a lot of weapons and props, however, I've been wanting to get into creating environments from scratch and through my research and friends, found out that you don't actually have to do HP bakes for a lot of the assets required to make environments.
So my question is, in regards to environment creation, what kind of assets do you actually HP bake?
My speculation is, the things you HP bake are hero assets, the things that make the environment unique, such as large statues, or landmark assets.
The things you don't HP bake are the walls, floors and what not, which can be handled just by the detail normal map.
But what about small assets such as buckets, farm equipment just small to medium props in general?
Thanks in advanced!

The normal maps you get out of this is light years better than converting pictures into normals.
