I am working in a new dungeon tileset for mobile in Unity3d, I will post my progress here and hopefully get some feedback from you guys during the process.
Thanks for watching and criticize it with no mercy!
Looks really nice, maybe a bit to purple at least vary the saturation here n there. now it almost looks like an Instagram filter :P
EDIT: didnt see it at first, but you got some very interesting pixel-y but still hand-painted look going on there, pretty cool but might be a bit weird unless its really clear its intentional.
really lovely stuff, my main crit is that its hard to find somewhere to focus the eye, all the lighting is similar in brightness and contrast. Also it would be nice to see the tileset laid out in a simple setup without all the cool effects and post processing so that we can see what the individual asset quality is like.
Nice style, but the pixel density differences really ruins the look when its composed to a scene. Some things has at least 10x worse pixel density than other things. Maybe it hurts only my eyes though
This, or a part of this is inspired by the aram lol map right?
@pixelb Thanks! I will fix the pixel density, seems to be the major issue.
@lotet Thanks man! I will try the unsaturated version and yes, the set is pixel art "inspired", all the set use a single material with a 512x512 diffuse pixel art texture (I have plenty of space on it atm) The in game camera is a much closer view, but maybe I have to push the pixel size a bit more to get the desired pixel look.
@Ged Thanks! I will post all the tiles with no post processing.
@Obscura Thankx! Haven´t play lol from ages now, I am looking the map right now, really nice one! I have to come back to kill some minions
I am working now in more modules for the tile set, I will post here soon
Hey VespaWarrior well done and thanks for sharing the tilesets brakedown: they look really awesome and colorful (I really like the style).
The target devide for your work is meant to be a mobile device ? (I am just wondering about it).
I also like the overall lighting of the environment.
The only "issue" I noticed in one of the shots below is that in close up some textures are quite pixelated: I was wondering if this is a "wanted" effect or is just a result of the (low I guess) texture resolution?
Still you did really achieved a pleasant look in my opinion: keep up the good work.
Man this is awesome! Great job! Love the style, detailed 3d pixel, really cool. So are the environment shots you show made up of just those tile sets that you show?
This is an interesting art style; I kinda dig it. I love how the textures are pixely in detail, and the LoD in the background looks more realistic. It makes for an intriguing contrast. I would fix the anti-aliasing on some of the diagonal lines in the textures though, some look super jagged.
I'm a little confused by the overall mood though. I'm not sure if is is the color palette or just the lighting + the balloons, but are you going for a carnival kind of vibe or something more dramatic? The balloons don't help it but I like them. They make me want to play Banjo-Kazooie.
@9thKnight I will, let me clean up the atlas texture first
@krimzondestiny Thanks man, I am glad you like the style. I will fix that diagonal line, you are right.
The general mood is a more cartoon/carnival than dramatic kind, I need to add more crazy props, on my list for the 1.1 update of the set
Very cool, looks like pro quality. I do agree its pretty saturated with all those bright orange lights and bright purple flow. If you dropped saturation levels 10-20% on everything it would look better IMO but everyones tastes is different. I know some people love super saturation.

Some close ups
Some progress, working in the combat rooms hope you liked it
Hi again, some progress.
Balloons in a dungeon? WHY NOT!!? hope you liked it.
I only wish there were more contrast between the floor and your characters. it's hard to see the characters in first glance
Another update, one portal to exit the dungeon
testing some new post processing too.
Hope you liked it!
are those for some sort of transportation or just for decoration? :?
I am working to finish the v1.0 of the tile set, here is the first 24 tiles ready to go
Hope you liked it.

Mobile devices are the target for the tile set, I have to test the performance this weekend, wish me luck
The pixelated effect is a desire look, low res texture, pixel art style with no filter.
I was just curious about that.
@9thKinight Thanks, yes man. the shots are made only with the tiles from the list, I will post some pictures of the props list too

Creating a simple level with my new tile set, really fun
Hope you liked it.
