i was looking for some different, more time efficient ways to create low-poly hair or fur for characters. the way i do it now, i pretty much manually copy, scale/translate, and place hair cards where i need them. while that does work, it can be tedious and time consuming.
are there any plugins or tools for Max, Maya, or Modo that might be able to make that process a bit faster or more intuitive?
how do you all go about creating hairs and furs in your favorite software?
any tutorials to point me to?
