[PAID] 3d Artist, Clothing and Props (Possibly becoming Full-Time In-House)

Attention Beginner to Intermediate 3d Artist,

Farsight Studios is currently looking to contract (PAID) 3d artist remotely to work on our new Next Gen Game. There is also a possibility of it turning into a full-time In-House position if the work is completed to satisfaction, in a timely manner.

Tasks:

We need someone who can model and texture character clothing and prop assets. The assets will be used in a next gen game targeting PS4 and Xbox One. They will also need to be PBR ready.

Abilities/Requirements:

-Good communication and the ability to take direction/critics

-Self-motivated and a team player

-Passion for art in video games and film

-Be able to create models/textures from photos and concept art with superior accuracy

-Experience with a Sculpting Package (e.g. Zbrush, Mudbox…)

-Experience with a 3d Package (e.g. Maya, 3dsMax…)

-Experience with a current game engine (e.g. Unreal, Unity…)

-An eye for creating believable materials using PBR workflows and textures (e.g. Albedo, Spec, Gloss, Normal…)

-Be able to create optimized topology and UVs for use in video games

-The ability to work quickly and efficiently

Studio experience is NOT necessary, but you must be able to show you are production ready. Basically, show that you can create quality assets in a timely manner. Whether it’s a school project or personal project, you need to tell us what you worked on and how long it took.

Once again this is for beginner to intermediate artist.

Email a link to your portfolio (A Must) and resume to artistjobs@farsightstudios.com . Also please include your rates.

Thanks,
AJ Sall – Lead 3d Artist
