Current WIP. Made in 3D Studio Max, high poly sculpt in ZBrush, retopo in 3D Coat (this was new for me!) and maps exported with XNormal (normal, AO, cavity and curvature) This is my first time in Substance Painter and my first real honest attempt at realism. I'm concerned about getting a nice cracked paint look on the white and how on earth to do the gemstones that sit in the gold. What you see below is literally about 10 mins experimentation first time in SP. Any advice/good tutorials/direction?

So I added some ribbon ties, and the gems into their settings. I import the new mesh with edit -> project configuration
Ok all looking good ready to paint on th-
WHAT. The materials seem fine, but all my masks are distorted and incorrect. I really don't want to have to redraw all my masks :c Is there a way to fix this?
started working on gems and ribbons
I seem to have lost some of the mask detail, hmmm.
I may need to do more work on the ribbon shape.
I'm struggling to find a way to make the gems look translucent and reflective/refractive, maybe turn them into pearls if i can't find a way?
