Decided to get serious about a portfolio so I've spent a lot of time and care on this to try and improve it as many ways as possible. I'm open to any crits or suggestions (except for that of accuracy to the prop from the movie, I don't really care about that, just the quality of the model).

Also worth mentioning, I made the grip wood instead of the transparent plastic due to me wanting to use it for Fallout and transparency not working well with that engine. So if I were to make it the proper material, how should I approach that? For reference, this is the material I mean: http://puu.sh/iolz2/93963ec3f5.jpg

    That would require a translucent material with refraction and subsurface scattering I think, not as easy to do in game engines. Maybe with some extra geometry inside the grip but im not sure.
    Looks more like Quartz not like plastic

    for the model, looks good but you could have easily used some more polies at places, especially the bullets and the grip, and the shell brass looks a bit off , less yellow more red-tone and less rough id say
