I just download the stability patch to eliminate startup crashes and it woked perfectly but now when I create my maps, I cannot edit their values because DDO does not allow me, there are no layers to edit in DDO layer manager

This is obviously a huge issue, doe this happen on all the projects? does it happen on both materials and smart materials? Did you move your project files to anywhere different than before the update?

it happens all the time on all of my projects both using materials and smart materials.

Have you tried one of the sample projects just to see if there is any difference?
Also, do you keep all your project files in one place? What is the path to your project?
