So the situation is this...
- I create an initial set of source ColourID, Normal and Curvature maps.
- Created a bunch of materials with DDO and all was fine on my model.
- Project was saved.
- Except there were some issues that needed fixing by re-UVing. So I did that and re-output the source maps.
- Since the colour usage is identical in the colour ID I assumed that I could just reimport the maps and it would simply recreate my masks based on the new map.
but no.
My resultant albedo,ormal, spec and gloss are messed up now and its ignoring the new source maps.
This is a problem for me as I want to be able to create a bunch of different characters that will have the same materials applied and hence their colour ID's will use the same colours. I hoped to be able to simply bring in new Colour Id, Normal and Curvature maps and have DDO create new maps for me but I don't know if thats how its meant to work.
