Making a Set without a Model?

Hey guys,

I am kind of new to Polycount and the Dota 2 scene but I was wondering if anyone knew of creating sets for Heroes that don't have their model in the technical requirement page.

I am looking at Tinker or Undying, they don't have a way to download their model and I don't believe Valve is going to rework them anytime soon. Is it out of the question to make something for those heroes? Would I even be able to test it in game?

If anyone has any advice I'd like to hear it.

It's possible by decompiling the game model, and then testing things out after compiling the custom items manually. One thing to note is that while some of the "unreleased" models are broken down in slots already, some are likely not.

Bottom line : it's quite technically involved and then there is no guarantee that Valve would consider such a set for the store to begin with. That being said, anything goes - it's just a risky bet to take ...
