Just wanting to know where you learnt Primarily for 3D work but also 2d and texturing.
As im still know very Very little and would find it helpful to know how/where you learnt to do what you do:)
These types of threads; Begin to annoy the heck out of you and makes you wonder why cant they do their own homework regarding the research of how to LEARN 3d as it is understood that learning the tools will not help you become a kick ass artist, it will only depend on your dedication.
Ofcourse one can create a thread when they hit a wall.
So, I've learned the basics of Maya, zbrush from its user menual, Eat 3d, the Gnomon Workshop and ofcourse Digital Tutors.
Somewhere in the middle of my learning curve I found Polycount and realized that I havent even touched the surface in terms of amazing art(s)
Not so long ago stumbled across ArtFundamentals (Blog-like subreddit for learning how to draw. So far having great results with following the lessons.:poly121:)
Also Creativeshrimp for composition/ presentation tips (low, high key lighting, where and how to use reflections...)
By and large I learnt stuff from reading peoples feedback on others work on here.
You can pick up a surprising amount from other people's mistakes, as well as your own
It's important you try and figure out different ways to get the result you want from what you already know. Might not be the most efficient way to start with, but you learn a bit more each time and you use that knowledge next time, then next time... You can try and shortcut that stuff by using tutorials for everything, but I think you've got to know the underlying stuff before building on that, and that takes time (and trial and error).
try and try and repeat on some works for 2-3 times make more control on softs and perfectionism for your work output, you can see yourself and also need to spend sufficient time to understand the basics and improve with other options available but give sufficient time to digest the content in brain else overload can burn to frustration so be relaxed and take breaks when feel too hot ...

great for 2D paiting and just plain industry stuff.
great for when you want to jumpstart through the basics, also has some nice guest artist pieces where they share their workflows.
