InterSection (Minimalist puzzle game)

Hey all, looking for some tips or critique on the art style for this game I'm making. I'm not much of a 3d artist, so any help would be appreciated:

    I'm loving this.

As for Aesthetic, I think you're already going in a sublime and light direction. This is great - https://twitter.com/NarVWal/status/574088388267012096 - as I think the gentle gradient won't rotate as the axes do, so it won't be too disorientating during play. Even if it does, it's the least distracting way to do it.

Right now my only strong advice would be to avoid having environmental shadows that match the player's color(s) so she doesn't get lost as you're moving the platforms. You could have her be lighter for dark levels, or darker for light levels. Temp and saturation are also viable for this.

Also, those trees are awesome. I dunno how they'll work visibility-wise, but they are awesome!

I look forward to playing this on my phone or PC one day.

Hey, thanks for the feedback and tips (and sorry for the late reply); very helpful! :)

I've been working on this some more and have a new background, opinions?

Hey, Your style looks really good. I actually prefer it without the background that you added last. The plain colour looks better.
