SOLVED: Still getting photoshop error (0x80042260)
SOLVED. PROBLEM WITH PARALLELS NOT QUIXEL.
Still getting photoshop error (0x80042260) with "Stability" update.
Been happening ever since 1.4 which was quite a while back. 1.3 worked fine. I get the error every time I click 'create base' or plug in an id map (and yes, the maps have no transparency). Even if I just load an obj (yes, triangulated), it still crashes anyway.
I'm running windows 8.1 on the latest version of photoshop CC (though it hasn't been working through quite a few versions) in parallels. I guess parallels could be the problem. But like I said, I bought this when it was still in beta and it used to work fine in parallels. Until 1.4. Rolling back doesn't work though.
I've tried everything I've seen suggested elsewhere. Updated Java, run as administrator, reinstalled photoshop multiple times, reinstalled quixel suite multiple times. The example quixel projects don't work either.
It was great software when it was working, but it's been broken for me for a long time. Are there any other fixes I can try?
