Question about Perspective in Zbrush

So i need to sculpt something with measurement and reference i turned off perspective and did all my measurements and tried to match to the reference but when i go into perspective u screws up my measurements a bit? Do i use non perspective to measure and then use perspective to match the reference? I am really confused about perspective when i should turn it on and off.

What kind of reference? Any photo reference will have perspective distortion in it unless the photographer specifically took the images at a particular FOV to minimize it. You can adjust the perspective distortion if you like. There's a slider in the Draw menu.
