So I have been having an issue in the old Mudbox. I am attempting to extract a normal map from a subdivided version of the Low Poly Model. Currently I have not sculpted in any detail I dont want to do that till i fix the edge issue i seem to be having.
So yeah I dont really know too much about Mudbox but i have spent a bit of time trying all the diffrent extraction settings abut i keep getting the same result. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
those strange bleeding issues could be caused by a non supported graphics card... or wrong driver...
best way to overcome this is to bake in xnormal...

are you sure the uvs are welded.?
I checked my UVW Unwrap and all is fine i have even redone all the smoothing groups and normals in 3d max but it still has not solved the problem..
