Continued working on a bust from a while back. Skin is mostly polypaint. Also used some photo information in there. I'm working on the clothes for now. Might start a new thread for her.
I fixed her hair and took the polypainted skin into Substance Painter to work on it some more and generate clean maps. Also dialed back on the SSS via a subdermis map inside Marmoset. Looks less waxy now. The transition between the eyeball and the iris looks weird. I'll also look into improving the shirt texture and giving the necklace a better shadow. Hair will stay FiberMesh for now. Gotta call it done soon.
Thanks Eric! I'm using less symmetry and smoothing on these and going for a more traditional workflow. That is, using mostly clay brushes. It's quite refreshing actually and helps with keeping an eye on the flow of the muscles.
Thank you SJB! Someone else actually remarked that on one of my finished characters some time ago. Makes me happy when it shows through. :pleased: I also try to take figure drawing classes whenever I can and do 2D studies which has helped a lot I think.

@Lophead25 : Thank you. Well spotted. I'll be on the lookout for those large pupils from now on. Should be better now:
Need to tweak the lighting and shading. Was told she looks a bit waxy now. The bridge of the nose also seems a bit harsh currently.
