I started working with this model but i allways stop on the middle part so plz can some one tell me on how to work on that do i need use splines or start with cube HELP any technique to start with ?
What do you got at the moment? Showing us a screenshot with the image in the background doesnt really help to understand your exact problem .
Basically it looks like the sword consists of 2 layers. One magma geometry which is a bit more rounded and soft and the stone plates on top of it. Try to create the sword out of these small elements. I guess your current problem is that you´re trying to build it out of one piece of geometry.
Well, there's a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration.
Are you looking at modeling in all that detail, hand painting it in, Zbrush even?
For the most part it's symmetrical, so focus on the one side, Drop a cube down and start poly modeling, use the symmetry tool ect.
Take baby steps, it can get overwhelming when you try to think of how to finish it in one bite, take little pot shots at it, step back figure out what you don't like about it / need to add to it, and continue on.
Then show us your attempt, it will be 100% easier to help diagnose this for you.
Other stuff i can just put a plane with some FX on it and some particles but now i dont have tablet to paint and use zbrush as i use too i waiting for it in couple of days so this is just for improving my hands
Just create a particle system that fits your needs, set-up a camera and render a image sequence from the camera view. Then you can apply this sequence to a image-plane.

The rendering problems are probably the N-gons you have there.
