Photoshop displays different colors than in windows, help!

Alright Im so annoyed by this its not even funny.
I was working on a drawing in photoshop and was really happy with the result, then I open it in windows picture viewer, upload it on my website, ie anywhere else than in photoshop and the colors look like crap, they are way darker and contrasted, some colors are even a little different.
what is going on here? I heard it has something to do with the color profile but I tried loking online and not much info was found.
anyone has a tutorial or steps to follow so that whatever Isee in photoshop will be the same once Isave my image in jpg?
