I am currently working on an Artillery piece called the M777a2. Here is the HP asset just about done ready to move on

Looking forward to the bake, one thing i would do is make the edges a bit softer on the high poly and exaggerate some small parts a bit in order for them to be more visible and bake well
Id specially soften up the wheels for them to read properlly as tires, they are too ahrd at the moment

Thanks for the advice i will def do that before the bake to make sure i get a good read

I really enjoy the overall design here. The one thing I'm wondering about is the front two shovel looking parts? What are those for? Did you have an references for the catapult itself? Or is that of your own creation?

This is an actual M777a2 - which is its actual name. We are using it for a unity game. I had to simplify some areas so it will work in unity ok

The rear spades are designed to absorb the kickback from the gun

In the video the spades are not down and the thing jerks back a good couple of feet
