Lucid robot is a small studio with over 20 years development experience in game production, we are currently creating an exciting isometric adventure where you and your team must traverse a dark treacherous land defending yourselves from droves of evolved insects, seeking safe harbor wherever possible.
We are seeking a talented experienced animator to join our team, this is a paid position. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated artist who has experience building rigs, skinning various types of organic and inorganic forms and a passion for creating exceptional animation. Must be able to thrive in a small telecommuting team environment, collaborating with Artist, Designers and Programmers.
Responsibilities
The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for establishing the animation pipeline, creating rigs & stunning 3d animation, for humans, creatures, and vehicles. Candidates must be able to animate expressive natural motion for, human (bipedal), creature (quadrupedal
+), and vehicles.

· [FONT="]Produce high quality animations from initial rough to final polished animation[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Experienced with rigging & skinning characters, creatures, and vehicles [/FONT]
· [FONT="]Strong understanding of animation pipelines, and issues involved in getting animation into a game.[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Problem solving oriented individual with a passion for game development[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Must be able to communicate artistic and technical concepts clearly and concisely in either verbal or written format in order to guide team members[/FONT]
· 3 years industry experience as an animator or at least one shipped title.
· Development experience PC, Mobile, Xbox 360, or PS4
· Portfolio, demonstrating exceptional animation
Skills
· Advanced knowledge in one of: MotionBuilder, 3D Studio Max, Maya
· Exceptional skills in animating a variety of subjects, including humans, creatures, and vehicles
· Proficient skills in rigging bipeds, quadrupeds, and vehicles
· Proficient understanding of Unity3d
· Excellent problem solving skills, thriving in a self-motivated independent working environment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work closely with a small team of Artists, Designers and Programmers
