Matt, Mira, Sean, and anyone else who helped us hand out shirts and stickers thank you soooo much. Also a special thank you to Joe and Mark specifically as they organized the party and got everything setup.
That was seriously one of the best moments in my life. I had so much fun finally putting faces to so many names I've come to know and talking with everyone. There's something really cool about being around so many people who are interested in and passionate about such a specific thing like "video game art".
Also, LOL: I drew the chalk greenteeth in the bathroom and I swear, not 10 minutes later there was a penis tank beside it doing what penis tanks do all over poor greentooth. I hurt my sides I laughed so hard.
It was crazy! I needed more booze, but the place got too packed to get to the bar. [angry fist] youths!
Thank you all for coming! I expected we'd leave with a lot of extra shirts... i left with one, which i gave to a random polycounter i saw later that night
That was great getting to meet so many of you! Thanks again to the organizers for putting on such an awesome event. Wore my PC shirt home on the plane, ended up sitting next to Wacom folks!
This was one of the most incredible events of my life, and i have to apologize for having a mini-anxiety attack (which i never get) and sitting in the corner drinking to myself after a little while... My ego just couldn't handle the sheer volume of people trying to ask me for help or just want to meet me.
I'll never forget this though, you're all beautiful beautiful people.
Thanks to everyone who came, the turnout was amazing! It's because of all of you that the Meetup was evan a thing, words can't even begin to describe how happy I am that we packed the place.
Was great meeting everyone this year, both old friends and finally getting to match faces to names (and thanks to the Marmoset guys for letting me demo)
This was my first GDC and the Polycount party was probably my favorite time!
the whole GDC experience was great but, at the party everyone was super friendly and open for either critiques, meeting you or just chilling which made the party at least for me be super gratifying! it was packed tho hehe
thank you to all the polycounters that organized it and run the event! you guys are awesome!
Can someone please explain to me why GDC and even the gdc vault are so expensive? Maybe I'm just being naive but surely there's a cheaper way of hosting these kind of events?

One of the main reasons why I don't show up for toronto pc meetings at Scotland yard:shifty:

What, you have a problem with my "I'm going to tickle your colon" face?
If there's going to be any colon tickling here I'd prefer it be from you
