[UE4] Atmosphere and overall feeling critique

Hey there polycounters!

Here's my first level created in UE4, would love to hear what you think about the overall feeling and atmosphere? I Know there's a lot of things far from perfect, but would be nice to hear your opinion over the emotions this place brings you! =)

I think you are on track for something that could be interesting. Right now I feel the first pan is too slow, I lost interest and skipped ahead.
I don't think it is as much of a lack of perfection, as it is a lack of focal points or POIs.
Do you intend to add objects or areas of interest a long the pan? 1 or two might do. Anything to break up the 2 horizontal lines. the flickering light is a good thing, fx. Maybe a leak? or something that was broken but has been fixed? Or a progresssion of some kind, in value, scene complexity or something?

You've made a good point! Thanks for the comment! To be honest I lack the camera skills. I've literally learned to work with them today, because I was in rush.

After the scene has good outcome, I'll add a rigged human with animation walking to the door, so maybe, I can interact something with that?

What position are you applying for? If it is environment art, rather give the environment a buff than adding characters, rigs and animations.
Be clear about what the focus is, and then make that work. We/they rather hire people who are good at their job, than mediocre at 5 different jobs :)

Yeah that makes sense, I want to become a level designer... just want to become better and better! That's my only goal

That is a noble goal, but very vague.

If you want to do level design, go show them level design, not environment art :)
