Same Item-multiple characters

So When it comes to making one item which fits every character,how do I go about submitting this? Do I do several submissions for each character or just one and mention there are versions for each character?

When you select different classes in the item importer, you can import your item's models for each class. Thus, one submission can contain models for many classes. All models need to use the same texture(s), backpack image and shader settings.
