Hey,
I'm teaming up with taston91 and were gonna create a Greek themed scene inspired by some God of War concepts as well as others. References to greek mythology and architecture throughout. Will get a nice moodboard and blockout up soon.
Software we will be using.
3DS Max
UE4
Zbrush
Substance Designer (possibly painter depending on need)
Photoshop
Looking forward to getting started and seeing what everyone else creates.
Cheers!

Good luck!
I have been putting together the initial blockout in UE4 using some standard UE4 assets.
Although since I made this we have been thinking about opening the back of the throne up to a balcony, with mountains and trees in the background etc.
Feedback welcome
and seeing how far I can push the normal maps detail wise with some reliefs.
no baked information just used a standard material and plugged in the normal and AO maps, used NDo for these, need to keep practicing with substance designer.
The balcony vista sounds like a good way to go..
Just worked on some Pillar designs this weekend and came up with the high poly below. More updates to come this week.
Looking good
Small update on the wall piece, rescaled the window as it was too big and changed the window frame, was messing around in the engine last night but UE4 kept throwing staticmesh errors at me and couldn't fix it in time to get decent screenshots
Just a quick update; I made the top section that will rest above the pillars down the main hallway. Should be putting these in the UE4 very soon.
Feedback appreciated.
cataev serj: I think that was just a fire preset that came with UE4. Again, just used for the blockout really
Quick update on the second pillar i worked on last night, Crits welcome
Feedback welcome
Just a quick update on the dome section i worked on last night, should be in UE4 tonight or tomorrow. Still needs some work but the idea and shape are almost there.
Test in the scene (although we will be making a large entrance at the back which should lighten up the room.
Also I started work on the floor for the hall room.
Let me know what you all think
On a side note made a little window grille last night like in the concept. Need to upres the lightmaps on the floor now though.
