Hand painted Textures *Redux* and other stuff

Had another topic, but its 7 months dead. sooo... *ahem*

Long story short went away for a good 6 months due to a combination of me being an idiot on the forums, and moving across a few states. Im going to try and make some time to get back into making various textures.

Just one texture for now. Going to try and pencil in as much time as I can towards this. I would like to make at least 1-2 a day

*Ignore the white borders. put them there so people wont use them (im paranoid like that) :P

Anyone know of some good image host sites? Seems Imgur likes to mess with the quality of images. Texture is nowhere near as blurry as it looks =\

Hi Narh,I like the color you picked for this one,but I kind of not like the lack of definition,because it kind of make it feel "blurred". Maybe was a style choice or maybe because you didn't had the time to rifine it,anyway check THIS for an example of a more defined rock (though I don't like the color in there)

Well. It IS a work in progress. Just blocked together an idea about an hour before I had to head out the door (just got home btw ).

I plan on refining after some sleep :P

Had some free time today. Reworked how the rocks looked in the magma/lave texture. Didnt like the direction they were headed, so i'm trying a different approach.

Just my own personal preference but I felt the previous version was actually better... it had a lot more depth to it because of the uneven heights... rocks looked like they were half dipped in and stuff... as now the new version looks like it will be quite flat... unless that's what you're going for, otherwise don't mind me haha.
