1) Finish some characters for my portfolio
2) ... Actually create a portfolio
3) Start a thread on the main forum 3d forum so I can get some critique from all the great artists here on PC

coming in the thread full of anticipation and then and seeing that your bad joke has already been done (id hope for a 4k monitor tho)
my resolution is to attend every game jam here and make tons of games, and get my current project finished this year, plus work on my spoken English I suppose >.>
Write and memorize a set list of four songs. I've got two Moogs and I need to rock out on them. I have a bunch of other goals but they are too important to be made into New Years Resolutions.
1. Get back on the health kick, started wavering a bit last year after doing well.
2. Relearn Maya and Zbrush. I've totally let my knowledge of those go out the window since I've been in the industry and have only been using Max for the most part.
3. Make more time for personal work. Especially the kind that's non 3d.
Learn to write properly. It's my favorite way to express creativity and feelings, it's something i neglect and should do more of. Other than that, keep trying to be a better person/level up my life.
- Get to know more people on PolyCount.
- Finish (to excellent standards) the game I am working on by mid June.
- Practice art/modeling more, watch TV less.
- Continue my amazing health streek!
- Post more on Polycount and get to know people.
- Make time to watch more documentaries and read.
- Have a stall at a local art convention
- Do life drawing regularly
- Learn how to paint! Without a line drawing specifically.
1. Paint more (and getting better at it)
2. Keep sketching at lunchtime.
3. Hang out with Xavier, EQ, the Seans, and the rest of you wackos at GDC.
4. Meet Scott Homer in person.
5. Try to not look at Scott with sparkly man crush eyes while we have root beer floats.
6. Make some awesomer game art stuffs.
You can't avoid looking at Scott without having sparkles and rainbows explode from around you. On top of that he gives the best man hugs.
- Keep Improving my 3D, mainly texturing (realistic and stylized)
- Learn Quixel and Marvelous designer
- Have a game art portfolio
- Have a piece of work in a monthly recap
- Get to know people / make friends on Polycount and get more involved in the community
1. Get life back in balance (new job meant portfolio/side projects fell waaaaaaay off)
2. Start doing 5K's again
3. Become at least passable in German (can pretty much only say my german is terrible)
4. Travel

Keeping it pretty simple this year, apart from that last one.
My vow last year to not play any video games in 2014 only lasted until March.
Lets see how far I can go with no games in 2015!
