So this is my first time posting anything and making a legit environment. I'm looking for critiques or any help that will take this project to the next level. My theme is a Mayan Architecture types style, but I was thinking about going towards an "Uncharted" kind of look in regards to modeling and texturing. My teacher thinks I should go towards more of a hand painted vibe; What do you guys think? right now i'm using Maya, Quixel, Zbrush, Xnormals, and photoshop for all my work. Sooo I will be updating this regularly, so if you could give me some consistent feedback I'll bring consistent work (no pressure). By the way no trolling Plz Thanks.
Here is my concept
Modular Block out
Rendered scene with stone wall Texture
Let me know if you need anymore info. I'll upload more later this week!

Second of all: use some sort of game engine, even Unity.
Third: tiling on walls of bricks need to be increased. put there a human model, 1.8m height, and you will get sense of scale.
And you need to make more progress, then we can say anything, now its kinda hard.
By the way my professor is Ryan Bown and yeah Im an EAE major
