Current Gen Character Polycount

Hey guys! quick question here, i would like to know from your experience, what type of polycount are you using for characters in a current gen game.

If you could tell the numbers for main characters and npc and the type of game/title if possible.

@Kroma Thats a great source but do you have anything related to next-gen RTS games? For PC obviously. I cant seem to find any good sources related to the poly counts of RTS games.

this can come down to sooooooooo much, how far away are you? how close can you get? how many units will be shown? what else will be on the screen? what is your engine capable of while doing the gameplay math? do you use a lod system? Maybe even imposters?
