TendoGames

Was founded in the year 2014, Oct of 24 by Yoshida Vlad known for his work at Ubisoft and AMC Pixel Factory, and for the work done to Trion: Rift, Capcom: Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty Ghosts, and other titles, and also known in the past for his level designing works and in the present for his 3D modelling work. Known also as the award winner of different realistic portraits and works, that were displayed in museum, magazines and over the web site gallery.
Now united with another 4 professional artists, and one very good programmer that you may be already be heard about for his UDK engine skills, we gathered together to create our first game “Them & Us” an original story, horror video game.

About company name and logo:

The tendogames company name stands for “heavenly way” in Japanese, it can also mean “10 do” games in English. The Chinese symbol 天 known as kanji, in Japanese it means heaven/sky. On top of it it stands the G form like a ring of angel. If you cut the mountain /\ from the kanji you will have the T alone. Together they form the symbols TG that stands for TENDOGames.

Short description:

The main character will be a simple character woman that doesn’t even know how to use a weapon, that spent more than 5 years into a cell accused for something that she didn’t did, outside of the world, until one day…one day…everything changes…
When she needs to be transfer with a group of people to another prison. We know …something will happen, maybe when they leave, or maybe on the road…

We can’t share much, but we can say that the action will mainly be hold into a huge building with locking doors, full of terror, gore and and hungry monsters, there will be many other places as well, like crypts, dark places, underground levels.

Enemy behavior:

The enemy will move slow but they are going to be very deadly and scary and noisy, better keep the lights on. Our game will also include a special zombie character that will keep our protagonist quite busy along the game… watch out for it because with every kill he/she/it becomes stronger and stronger regenerating from ground.
Can you survive long enough?


We just recently started this project, but we try to move as fast as we can to get the fundamental of the game down, here you can see some of the team work in progress:

    Thank you for contacting. We received a few mails already with misunderstanding contents about salary we need to make sure you understand correctly about payment. We posted in Royalties or Post-Launch Compensation Work not in Full Time - Part time jobs or Freelancing.

    As we mentioned on the website we will pay everyone according to there work and time investment in the game as soon the game will be ready and sold. We'll make a contract on this terms. For now we just work with passion completing this game and make something successful worthy of calling a horror game those days, each one of us working on royalty now

    If you just write everything is on my website and give us your email, that alone wont say much about you. We need also to know how much interest you have for a project like this.

    Hi guys, thank you for your interest in our game and also thank you for all you e-mails. The music and sound composer position is now closed, since we receive already too many emails about this position!

    On another news, the game story script is now finished, it will impress anyone away, after knowing how dramatic the story is, and what horror expects our protagonist.

    Also we just want to mention that now the game project is registered on the indied DB.

    We have a few new members in the team. 2 new talented music & sound composers that worked for a few games company and movies productions. And a new environment artist.


    We want also to say that our lead programmer that works with us is none other than the guy that finished [ by himself ] the whole remake of the resident evil 2 game on the UDK engine. That means we have strong point of view that we will not fail with this game and finish it.

    We need now (unreal development kit) level designers and animators to create the intro of the game and also put our protagonist in-game.

    I want to thank you for all the application emails you sent to us. Right now we have almost all positions filled to work for our Kickstarter & Indiegogo campaign - short demo game.

    We may open in the future new position. For now we only looking for 2 exceptional level designers.

    Task:

    You will work with me, and other level designers. For example I will work on a stage and you will work on the other stage, that later we will stream together. We will share textures with each others and meshes to speed things out.

    Requirements:

    1. At least basic knowledge of UDK, knowing how to work with terrain well, blocking volumes, materials, textures, lights, triggers etc.
    2. Must know how to create his/her own assets, using max, maya or blender.
    3. Must know how to create his/her own textures assets, using photoshop, and crazybump/NDO or zbrush.

    On short. The individual Must know how to create a stunning looking level without any help from the environment artists.

    Hi everyone,
    Two more month have passed. But the team did not sit around.

    Please welcome our new talented 3d environment artist, Eprdox, he has been working very hard creating a few main assets for the game.

    George has started to work on the zombie female class, yes that is correct, we will have female zombies as well.

    Also, Vlad decided to start level designing again, after 11 years, that's right, creating a level design to show you that we don't have only game ideas, we also can put things in action.
    It been long from the time he didn't made any level designs, so he is a bit rusty in this field.

    Please note the UDK statue is just a holder, it will be replaced later by something very beautiful, but we want to keep it secret! Also big thanks to Arkadius, and Loading for the nice assets like, gate, trash, bench, wall lamps, that helped the level shine more.

    Now we have a new 3d animator in the team, doing some animations for the main character. Stay 2nd for some new & better animations later. We still need 2 more animators to rig and animate the female zombie so we can put this dear inside the game, but they will come in time, we hope.

    Last of not least our programmer Rod Lima, made some very nice additions to the game, like placing the character inside the game, adding flashlights, and recently the first enemy. See here:

    As an addition to the game we are making, we are going to bring you the old school jump scarred camera into the game, not only the 3rd perspective view, code is already done.
    Player can select the gametype he/she wants, after finishing the game.

    Hi everyone, we want to announce that we are moving the Them & Us project to the Unreal Engine 4 due to better graphics, shader v5.0, better lighting and daily updates.

    Right now myself I am currently working brick by brick the mansion level once again and I have a lot of fun
