[Riot Art Contest] Nidalee Tribal Warrior

I'm making my thread thingy before I try to back out of it -__-'.

So my idea is to take Nidalee's classic look and revamp it to look even more tribal/indigenous.

I'm gathering inspiration from various things: african tribes, a bit from mexican sugar skull ideals, some from bad hollywood movie depictions (lol), a bit of kitsh fashion and some random dolls.

Whoo! Ok! Let's get started x__x!!

Exploring some posing/composition ideas. Ended up whipping out a camera for ideas for poses...lots of fun!

Explored a bit with hair styles (had to narrow it down to 3 otherwise I could go on forever....!!!)

Messed a bit with composition, lighting isn't my strong point, even less so with dramatic lighting...but I have hope! And persistence!

If you want my opinion, I prefer the first design and the first composition! But the other ones are pretty good aswell so just listen to your heart and do whatever you want to do!
This seems to be full of promises

Love your concepts. I had to actually ban myself from doing Nid because I already draw too much tribal stuff. >.>

Very nice! I'm a fan of your 2nd Nidalee design, myself. As for the composition, my suggestion would be either @2 or #3 on the 6-thumb comp page you did.

Looking really good! I like the composition on the bottom left hand corner. I feel that is something riot would do nowadays.

In terms of design, the one that looks most like Nidalee is the first one…BUT I really like the 2nd one the best in terms of design.

Ok, so I had fleshed her out, I'm currently tinkering with the background, various color ideas....and her face. I'm trying to get a feel for her face, but Not sure which I should go with! I've honestly already ruled out the first one....but I'm not sure between 2 and 3.
