Hello everyone.
I decided to go with Maokai, since I thought he had an interesting design and it would also give me an oppotunity to try out some new ideas i've been having about creating the mesh.
For the concept and layout, I decided to block out the character with Zpheres inside Zbrush. After i found a good pose and silouette, I turned the spheres into dynamesh, and blocked out the basics of the character.
I used CurveTubeSnap for creating some interesting root effects that would follow the surface
Once i felt like I had a good foundation, i started the actual sculpting process
I am currently working on blocking out a low poly mesh inside Maya, since the Dynamesh is acting up, and I want to play around with some projection settings before i move on and going further into details.
