I am Aubrey, I am a student at CATO, aspiring to be a 3D Modeler, and I am entering this contest, one as an assignment for school, but also to put my modelling skills to the test. Here are some pictures of the blocking stage of my character, and the concept I am working off of.

Hey, So an update on my progress, I have finished I believe, getting the proper proportions under the armour, correct. The body should be the appropriate size.

Another update, this one I have blocked in the beard, made a better helmet, and changed the face shape and ear shape a bit.I feel Like I got the base silhouette

Aright, So I redid the armour on the feet, altered the ears a bit to better fit the silhouette. Redid the chest piece, and also put in the ear ring.

I feel like the body is too thin for his head, try to enlarge it, il will surely read better in game

An update, Thanks for the feedback Dantert, I did make Ziggs a bit thicker, redid a bunch of the hard surface stuff. I would really appreciate some tips on how to model hard surface in z brush more efficiently.

Another Update, Did some hair, added a blocking for a lot of the circular screws, did some more of the armour, around the legs, and redid the armour on top of the hands.

Alright, Worked on the silhouette more, pulled shapes around a bit, flattened others and put a little more detail on some of the armour pieces.

Another Update, working noew on more fine details in the armour, but I would love it if some one could tell me how I can make the straps that hold on a lot of the armour in Zbrush. Thanks in advance!

Another update, on the left is the very start of my retopologising for low poly model, on the right is my final sculpt for Ziggs.

Here is another update with the Retopo, I am going to get all the Hardsurface doen first, so I can can see exactly how much of the base body needs to be modelled, I finished the chest piece (keep in mind I am just going to mirror all this over) started on the helmet. Had some set backs updating maya.

So another update , finished the shoulder pieces, part of the boots,and the helmet. Still have to do the straps, kevlar vest, knee pads, hand armour, and the rest of the body.

So I have now finished 80% of the hard surface, only got a couple straps left, finishing the boot, and merging the middle between the mirrored pieces nicely. I am glad I did this, because I don't have to model nearly as much on Ziggs as I thought.

So I have now UVed, and totally finished the Low Poly model. Beginning texturing Face count is 13823. or 27282 triangles

You should always go by tri count and bro, 27,000 is INSANE for this character. Cut it to 10k...AT LEAST...

Here is my final submission. I came across an issue that I wish I read more carefully the first time, I misread that we are only supposed to have a single texture sheet, so I had to work to combine all the separate sheets into one. Meaning I couldn't pack things as well as I wanted too because I had done the majority of the textures before I discovered that issue.
