UPDATE : December 12 (Finished)
Its finally done.
Hey how's it going. Thanks for checking this out.
Basically, I'm making a diesel punk retro futuristic garage, though this is set in early 90s, after the cold-war ended. Everything is run by gasoline.
Here's some prop concept.
Quick room placeholders in UDK
and the first prop (Trying to achieve Borderlands like style)

Ok, you had me at this description
"Post Cold War Diesel Punk Retro Futuristic Garage" holy crap hahahaha
EDIT : Any people from Gearbox or someone who knows their pipelines here, maybe you could share some of it ? Anyway, Saw some textures of some props here but I also noticed from the game that they don't use normap map that much. Everythings hand painted. The small seams between different metals aren't normal map either.
They use indeed normal maps at their models (including high poly sculpts) but they make heavy use of handpainted "scripts" so you can't really see the normal map at all.
scroll down and you find a little infors like stencils and so on
@Dethling I saw that dump, didn't realize there was a conversation going on in there. Too distracted to look at the cool stuff from them.
@Cibo wow, thanks man. Really helpful. Didn't know this stuff existed.

Keep at it!
So here's some screenshot from the "would be" final one. What do you guys think ?
More posters, more decals, or simply more props like vents, maybe a wall phone or other garage-oriented props. : )
EDIT : Also, like Cay said, some oil drops or tire marks on the floor would be really cool.
EDIT : Thanks though
So here's a shitty video
