Nice, I'd say that the values are a little flat, I think you need to incorporate more darker values and try to exaggerate the rain fall, to give more mood to your image, but it's really nice, keep it up!

from the first sketch for some reason I thought you were going to make a cloud dreamland, which I think might have been more interesting.

Interesting idea. I would suggest pulling his left leg either forward or back though - the way it is now, it fits perfectly over his other leg, which gives it a strange silhouette/tangent that's a little awkward at first glance.

I tried to adapt it to your comments, here is an updated value-version along with some progress!

(PS, off topic, this is my first post ever on polycount, is it possible to remove posts, like the second of my images, doesnt show much progress at all, maby someone can PM me an answer )

Moonlight!! Damn so hard to paint moonlit stuff!
This time I tried applying some gradient-maps and stuff to the above values, and now begins the real painting i guess.
