looking good weish! One piece of feedback so far would be the lack of focus. You dont have much of a top down gradient for your values. Another would be to have more variation in your color, shift the hue a little more etc.

That gradient really helps to ground your character. I almost wonder if the same thing could be done with the maps on his back (as in get darker as they go behind him)

Such a great character and you are really doing him justice.

When I grow up I want to make art as rad as you do.
