Hi guys, this is my low poly mesh! Does anyone know how much polygons the ingame characters have? I tried to make it lowest possible! Critics are welcome! Hope you like it!
If you are going for LoL in games limits, I would knock off a few thousand. This level is not needed for a moba. In game you would not see much of a difference if this mesh had 3-4k less tris. However the contest has no limit, so it's your call.
Your low poly looks really good. I know they said that they want to see good topology and I don't think that means that they want you to hit the same polycount that they actually use for the game. Otherwise they would have said that. But 10,000 for a character is actually on the lower side. I think you did great, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the tips guys, I made a quick search here and for example yasuo has about 10K tris, and as you sad "Howling Carnage" if Vi and Lucian has about 12k tris I'm not too far from that! Now its texture time!
Looks great so far. In terms of polycount, I think you're doing fine. I've noticed that the newer character models tend to have a higher polycount than the older ones.

The low poly mesh looks great and it holds the silhouette very well.
As for the textures, I think you have a strong start there.. but I'm not sure the cutlines in the chest plate will read in game, either way it's a nice touch.

Hey guys! After a lot of hard work, I think I'm done with this guy! This contest was awesome and I learned a lot with all of you! First, I'd like to thank you all for the precious tips, this was my first low poly character and I'm pretty sure that all coments here helped me out a lot! So here it goes! Hope you like it!
