After finishing my blockout I'll release a download link.
If an animator wants to use my model for the contest, you can use the blockout to create a rig and animate. Later during the challange I'll release my progress so you can present your animations with my final model!
Thanks! I use lines for reference.. this way it's easier to keep clean big shapes in zbrush. If I want to change the details i can just paint with white and don't have to clean any shapes.
The final hardsurface parts will be created in max anyway. Still beats zbrush by far when it comes to clean metal pieces.
good progress! personally i would scale the head a tad, right now she is like 9 heads tall, to me the original artwork never had this super hero feel to them, i guess this and the fact that she looks quite mature would be the things i would adress.

@ D_wall: I'd never model this in Zbrush I use the advantages of zbrush to create the shapes, but afterwards max. Modifiers like bend turbosmooth, shell, displacement etc. make it so much faster and non destructive..
Damn you're going all out with the details. The ingame model looks like they simplified a bunch of the original design. This should be crazy to see painted.

the specular/gloss/normal , make the character look so great?
of course shading has a lot of influence on a characters look

Arms are 90% finished. Worked a little bit on teh face but that has to wait till everything else is finished.
Actually worked on the face again.. will probably change many times till december..

@LRoy: I didn't want to limit myself. I'll just make an awesome presentation character and see how the ingame view works out.
@slosh: Sure, but not super low. I'll aim for the polycount I used for ps3/360 characters in crysis 3. Something around 10k tris.
