hey guys,
i have a generall question about normal maps, especially for the LP and HP objects.
When creating the LP object from the HP object, do i need to care that all the LP polygons are above the HP ones? Or is it equal ?
The same question when creating a HP from a LP obejct, after applying turbo smooth to the LP and adding support lines for the edges, do i need to care that the HP polygons "areas" are under the LP obeject? or is it equal too ?

The LP doesn't need to be above or equal the HP mesh. If you use a program like Xnormal or Maya to bake out your normals, the ray casting is done from HP to LP.
Here, watch this video and you will understand more about baking normals and the LP and HP procedures.

Also, when baking use a cage for 90% of everything. Raycast in rare cases, like baking to a flat plane or when ALL of your seams are buried in a crack.
