So I hate to ask this kind of question but I seem unable to solve it by myself with only the power of google. I just started using UE4 and decided to make a test scene to get to grips with it. I made a little room in max and imported it. I had 2 UV channels on this room, one for textures and one for lightmaps.
The problem I'm having is that my lightmap is really broken. It's set to use 1 (channel 2) for lightmaps. I've built the lighting. Tried introducing more lights to the scene. I've tried remaking the room. I've increased the lightmap resolution.
Any ideas on what the cause is?
