Hey everyone!
We have been working on a game for about 1.5 years, and we are about to show it to press and open a closed beta of it! We are really excited for this, but unfortunately we still don't have a final name! We will launch to PS4 and PS Vita.
We made an internal voting for the name, but since we are a studio with a non native english speaking team, we wanted to see what the general feedback from people outside of Costa Rica would be.
Our game is set on a magical land where there are 3 characters that will help bring the stolen color and life back to the world. Here's some concept art to help guide your prefered answer.
We basically have 5 possible final names that we wanted your opinion on! Please let me know what you think! I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Thanks! As a note, the characters are made of paint, as well as the paint orbs they collect.
HitmonInfinity: Why do you think a name with a K is not a good idea?
In all seriousness, it looks awesome!
HUEMANOIDS
goodluck...
I also like ExcessiveZero's Color Quest.
Good luck, the game looks awesome!
+1 to this idea
I just think spelling stuff intentionally wrong is a naming trend that's getting very old. It's just an unnecessary complication to something that should be quick and easy. If someone sees you playing your game and they ask what it is, you have to tell them the name, and then how to spell it. That's not good branding in my opinion.
Another example is that old skool fps coming out. It's called Toxikk. Just then I had to Google it to make sure that's actually how it's spelled. If it were simply called Toxic, there wouldn't even be a discussion on how annoying the name is and people might actually be talking about the game itself. I don't see your game having quite the kind of problem, but you get my point.
Thanks! We actually had Chroma Heroes as a finalist name, but had to remove due to 2 titles coming out with Chroma on their name: Chroma Squad, Chroma (Harmonix game).
As a note, we came down from 200+ names to these top 5!
It's funny to see how the poll in another thread is HUGELY different to this poll!

Since Kolormondo is the definite favorite on the other site, how do you feel about it?
Game players Vs Game industry.
THIS! I voted color guardians but really I voted against the letter "K" rather then anything else.
it might be "not so much of a big deal" to spell a word "wrong" when its not your native language, but its really hard to take something seriously/professional when the title isnt even spelled correctly.
For what it's worth, I'd be far more likely to look into a game called "Kolormondo" than "Colour Guardians".
English correctness as an evolving language created by northern Germanic tribes with nothing better to do while rubbing feces on their faces has been a result of "popular usage" for thousands of years. Color is American English:

And defined as such in Websters dictionary since 1828.

Not that I would take it any less seriously if "spelt" incorrectly. If the game is good enuff people will find it fine. Fer instance I am sure flickr.com has no problems attracting new users.
I also like Kolormondo. It's unique and fun.
